Wow. so I haven't really updated in a while. Sorry to all you kids who were dying to read about my oh-so-exciting life. Let's see. After exams, I got violated by the bookstore in what we all know as "book buyback"... I don't see why the bookstore needs to make such an insanely large profit off of us teeny little po' college kids... So yeah, I got home last Thursday and have pretty much done nothing since then. How nice that does feel. I finally did all my Christmas shopping on Friday, did all of my dad's Christmas shopping on Saturday, then did all of my sister's Christmas shopping on Sunday. I am now a professional shopper and gift-wrapper. If anyone needs any assistance in either of those areas, I will be happy to help. I am good at getting stuck in no traffic, getting close parking spaces, finding good deals, and I do have experience in avoiding the mall and finishing all the shopping. You know the number, call me for help. In the spirit of Christmas, today I bought myself Liz Phair's CD. I totally recommend it. It is amazing to wrap presents to. Let's see... what else have I been up to? Oh right. Operation Drip Drop. Let me tell you guys how that went down. On Saturday while my father and I were out shopping I called my sister to see what she was up to, and she told me that nothing was going on, she was just watching tv. Two hours later I get a call from her. She tells me to leave the room I am in with my mother, so I do. She then tells me that she is driving to Nashville, she is two hours away. There we devise a top-secret plan to play a prank of my parents. I go over to Brian's to wait for her. Brian, Maribeth, and I rendezvous at Ruby Tuesday in Green Hills to eat and hash out details. There we get our codenames Maribeth (Stop Sign), Brian (Eye Candy) and me (Tigerbeat JTT). So Stop Sign takes my car, and I take hers. I call my mom and ask her if it is okay for me and Eye Candy to come over and watch a movie. Of course she says yes. So Stop Sign and Eye Candy go ahead of me in my car, pull into the driveway and walk in. My mother has a dumbfounded look on her face because her daughters are apparently switching on her. She then continues to call us 'dirty rats' or something to that effect. Ahh... what fun 'Operation Drip Drop' was. ooh. I worked today. A full 3.5 hours. It was fun. Boy oh boy do I miss that Sonic. The money too. But still, it was a good time. I get to work on Tuesday now too, that is super exciting. Sergio is bein' all mean and hating me and not putting me on the schedule, so I have to call people up and steal their hours, which is hard to do. Yeah... that's my sonic story. Well, seeing as to how it is around 2 in the morning, I think that I will head off to bed. Wrapping 30 presents in 3 days is rather difficult and tiring clearly. As was making my top secret present. But I will write about that after Christmas, because I believe writing about it now will ruin it. So yes, I am outta here. Maybe if you left me comments, it would inspire me to update more often. Okay, well i love you all, and have a merry christmas eve eve eve. and ... yeah....

Ahhh... It feels so very nice to have one more exam as a freshman in college. I am a little worried about my grades, because college all of a sudden got very hard the last few weeks of the semester. Tomorrow morning I take my sociology exam, and then I get to go home and see everyone, especially you-know-who. Woohoo! I am super excited. But yeah, now I have to go and be a good little student and study. Wish me luck... I'll need it...

So since we all know what a big slacker I am, just today I decided to do my list o thanks. So here you all go, if I forgot you, let me know so I can specially add you...

Tammy- We all know that I think you are the funnest person to hip. If I could only hip one person for the rest of my life, it would definitely be you. I love you so much, and I wish that I was at UT with you. We would so be the greatest roomies ever. That was definitely the most awkward lunch ever though when we didn't know each other, but the sandwiches we split were definitely yummy. I am so glad that we still talk,, but that no matter what we can still party it up as pirates or ninjas separately. I can't wait til we get to hang out over break, but I do refuse to go shopping with you. You are the worst friend to go shopping with. But I want to... Argh.. What a girly dilemma. I can't believe that out of all of us, you are the sorority girl. You know, sorority girls do it with their sisters. And lastly, you say tomato, I say...

Lindsey R- As soon as I know how one-eyed horses move, I will be happy to let you know. No, but for real, you have been a real blessing to have around this semester. Thanks for going to visit big ole Bellevue with me so I didn't have to go alone. The trips to Sonic, the mall, Kroger (with that hottie of a U-scan guy) are something that I will always remember. You still need to go live in Carpenter with me next year, maybe then we will go and see the Vatican statue...

Sydney - Gosh, talk about the greatest roommate ever... Oh wait, then we'd be talking about me. Although every morning when we wake up, we say we hate one another, I am so glad that we are roomies. We could have both had it so bad off with the whole situation, but we get along rather well (and by get along, I mean make fun of Lindsey) It is always fun to share all our boy stories every Sunday night while we're watching Charmed, and I can't wait for another Walmart trip... Can we build another loft bed?

Megan- I think you and Lindsey are the new recipients of the award for the greatest suitemates ever. Thanks so much for all that Psych help at two in the morning on those papers. I do enjoy the fact that I am the tallest girl in our suite, but if over break I lose my legs in a freak accident with a dishwasher, know that the honor is all yours. I don't think Sydney and I could have asked for better suitemates.

Lindsey M- Aw, Let's go Peay! It was so fun when Heather and I got to come visit you and eat our McDonald's over fall break. Spring break was a grand ole time. Especially our stay at Sandalwood. Just think, if we had just gone back the next night, we could have had some Red Passion to go along with Gatorade... or SoCo...or Jim Bean... Whatever kind of craziness was going on their video camera, I don't even want to know... The guy was what? A sumo wrestler in the bathtub?

Emma- Aw, it's my Emma! You definitely made Memphis ten times cooler when you came to visit me, and we uh... hung out in my dorm room and drank juice. But that drug deal made it all worth while. Definitely. I won't ever forget AP Euro and those grand ole times where you were all smart, and I had to be the dumbest in the class... Oh wait, 2nd (thanks Tammy). I'm real proud of you for having the number to the Sexiest Man Ever in your phone, can I get his autograph? I never got to go to the farm, so we need to all go there sometime soon, when I'm not sick, or having a breakdown, or something. Oh, and my treadmill is there for your use anytime.

Emily H- You and your ten foot long manpole... I don't even know what to say about it. You have other people pay you, so they can give you a blow job. Emily, I don't think your twisted little mind will ever make sense the little me. I love ya so much, and it has been crazy fun talking to you at random late night times, in which you tell me to eat one of my five children I apparently have, as well as talking about aphrodisiacs and fake cheese all in less than 5 minutes. Spring Break Forever! Throw them bowls!

Heather- Aw, it's my Heather! It was so exciting that we had the same fall break! That McDonald's sucked, but you didn't! I am kind of upset that my best friend Kaelin and I have lost touch, but maybe that is just what you wanted. Sorry that you realized Samford sucks, but I am sure you'll like Western so much more (or UTK as Tammy likes to put it) . Although, I must say, Memphis sure does like people named Heather... No, but I will never forget our times at Alpine... and Alpine... and where else did we eat? Oh. Alpine. I was always sure to laugh hard when I was with you, and that is a plus in my book. Mmm... I could go for some Ginza... Eh, I'll just go to Alpine...

Rachel- Aw it's my favorite cousin! You definitely take the cake over David and Michael. I'm so glad that we have had the opportunity to get as close as we are. From prom junior year, to prom senior year. We changed a lot, but still remained ourselves. That is what I love about you. You are so different from me, but we still seem to get along real well. And who knows, we actually are turning into our mothers... Prime example: when we wanted shrimp when we got home from camp, and they were eating it when we called. I love you so much, and anytime you want to go bond with Aunt Anne, just let me know...

Carla- It is okay that you like Crossroads. We like you in spite of your bad taste. Aw, I still remember how we'd debate for forever as to whether you should go to our prom or Marky Mark's. I think you made the right decision. You have a habit of doing that. I don't think I have ever seen you make a wrong decision, and that amazes me about you. I know you have had your share of bad times this year, but you have grown through all of them into one of the coolest girls I know. You need to come chill in Memphis with me! Mmm... chicken salad sandwiches...

Eric- Hey pal, although I am not always serious when I am around you, I really am always there for you. I am sure that my sarcasm may get to you at times, and I am sorry for that. You have always been there for me, from times when I wasn't doing too well, to times when I really needed a wake up call at 3am because you were having a fire drill. We get annoyed with one another from time to time, but I have had some of my best conversations ever with you. I love you, and will always, always be here for you. Sorry that I can't have kids with you anymore, but if you've got a problem with that, you know who to talk to. Thanks for being there for me always. Maybe soon there'll be an iloveeric...(but that just doesn't flow)

Mommy and Daddy- Although you guys aren't supposed to read it, I know you do, and I want to thank you for everything. You guys have given me so much, and so many opportunities, that I don't think I could ever thank you enough. You might not have bought my clothes for me, but you guys gave me a car and gas money to get to a job where I could get money to support my nasty shopping habit. I thank you guys for being role models of how a marriage should be. You have given me something to look up to for in the future when I get married, and I thank you for that. I think you raised us kids well, and I can't wait until I have kids of my own, and you get to dote on them as grandparents (and I'll be in Nashville, so we will be over a lot). So thank you so much for the example you guys have laid out for me. It really does mean a lot. You guys are the bestest parents a girl could ask for. Although I don't say it that much, I love you guys so much.

Sissy- Aw, it is my most favoritest sissy in the whole wide world! I love you so much! Our late night time with ham cubes and gold coins, as well as our discussions about our drunken mother have meant bundles to me. Although sometimes you talk to me in French, and I don't speak French, on some level, I am sure I know what you mean. You're the greatest sister ever, and I can't wait til we get to match our outfit in the nuptials of Sam and Netty on Jan 3. iheartsissy and foilball forever! Let's form a coalition against our drunken mother!

Colby- You have always been there for me. I'm so glad that we can share our troubles, even though we've only met twice... once at that lock-in, and then you came to my super bowl party back in the day. I'm so glad that we have gotten to know each other so much better. I must say that I have gone through Colby withdrawal once or twice this year. I am so glad that I was able to make your blog all pretty for you and that we can be dorks together. Yeah, you're the greatest, and you know it. I enjoy our name calling and venting about TBR. Thanks for keeping me up to date on everything ever.

FBC Folk- You guys have been the greatest support that I could have ever hoped for. Whichever grade I was in at the time was a blessing. Sorry I had to lump all you guys together, but I do love all of you equally. I don't think I could have wished for a greater group to go on choir tours, church camps, Hawaii, Cincinatti, and Atlanta. Whether it was getting lost in the projects in Atlanta or almost getting lost in Molokai it was amazing. Camp news was complicated, but for the most part turned out to be okay. I'm still sad that we didn't have jousting, but it's all good, cause I totally had 1st place in the Walk On Water competition. You guys rock.

The Posse- Wow, I know you guys have had your troubles over the years. But I love each and everyone of you. 8th grade totally rocked. I love getting together with you guys when I am in town. I love you Lucy. I love you Cara. I love you Britni. I love you Sampy. I love you Meredith. Although we don't all keep in touch with each other all that much, it is still great when we see each other. You guys were my bestest friends back then, and I hope we are still all close to one another. Keep me updated on what is going on with you guys and college crap and such. I love you! Never forget that!

All you kids- I want to thank all you kids that actually take the time to read this little blog of mine to keep up with what I am currently whining about. You give me support and comments, and help me realize that it really isn't that bad. I thank you guys, and if I forgot you on the list, let me know, and I will be more than happy to add you and thank you personally.

Brian- Gosh. I don't even know where to begin to thank you. You mean so much to me, and you know that. I love you so much, and every day I love you a little bit more... who am I kidding... a whole lot more. I am so glad that God gave us this second chance, and that we took advantage of it. I will thank you every day for the fact that I love you, that you love me, the commitment we have made to each other, and just how amazing you are. Gosh, I love you. Always and forever I will love you. There really are just no words that I can use to tell you how much I love you, but I do. I am definitely in love with you. And I will be in love with you for the rest of my life. I can't wait to grow old with you, and go through so much of our lives together. You mean the world to me, and I love you so much. I love you.

the other for "Do you wanna love me forever?'

Gosh, I have got to start updating this thing more often... Hrm... well let's see. Thursday was the "study day"on campus... which translates to "sleep-in day". so of course we slept til like 2... and i did that Friday.... and saturday... and sunday.... yeah.... sleep is good i have realized. i had my calculus exam at 8 this morning. i don't think that was a good idea to have it at 8, because the class is at 10:20 normally, so it isnt like i am used to doing calculus that early. this was definitely the earliest i have had to wake up all semester. sad huh? well, you know what is worse than taking a calculus exam at 8 in the morning? taking a calculus exam at 8 in the morning in a room that is over 90 degrees because there are heating problems! woohoo! well, at least we know i lost the freshman 15 through sweat today.... so now it is like 9:30, and I have a film paper due at 6pm, which is when i go to my exam for that class. the exam should not be that hard at all, or at least that is what i hope. although it is challenging to finish my paper by then, as it is hard to have 2500+ words on angles of cameras and whatnot. I can't wait til I go home on Thursday. much excitement is to be had there. i get to see brian like, as much as possible, which is super exciting, but it is kind of sad, because i leave jan 1 to go to sam and netty's nuptuals. and then I get back on the 4th, and his classes start on the 5th!.... so yeah, I mean, i do get to see him bunches onver break, which is exciting, but it is a teeny sad, that i have to say bye to him on new years... so yeah. but want to know what is exciting? he get's to come and see me on like... jan 16th! i am so excited about that! i get to show him how crappy memphis really is. how exciting is that? I hung out with most of the girls over thanksgiving break, which was exciting. (except shame on you to you girls who weren't there... shame on you) and i think we are going to try and get together more than once over winter break, so all you spring break kids better be there. even though it is after thanksgiving, seeing Tammy's thanksgiving idea made me want to jack it from her, and do it myself, so I will... just not yet, I'm still figuring out how to properly thank you all, so check back tomorrow to see if it is up, and you are lucky enough to get on it. i know i am a slacker, but it will be up by midnight tomorrow. all you kids leave me a note and let me know how your exams are going. love you. peace.

Gosh, now someone has come to my site by searching for "calculus jokes". That either makes me laugh, or sad for myself....

yeah, but hey, I'm probably getting googled more than Colby. so ha.

Yeah, and so classes finished yesterday. Today was study day, which for me, means sleep til 1 day. Tomorrow is the first day of exams. But not for me. Hrm... that makes me laugh. haha. (see, i did laugh). Yeah, so I go to my calc exam and my film exam monday. then two more "study days" on tuesday and wednesday day. hurrah.

Sydney (aka Snyden) has two exams tomorrow, so I think you guys should all laugh at her.

My eyes hurt. I think that is a sign that I have been playing Adventure Elf far too long....

remember how i had to get my blood drawn? yeah....

well, they sent it out to get tested. so tonight i got a message on my machine today telling me to call the doctors office cause they need to tell me something. of course i was all freaked out thinking they found something, so i call and i was on hold for something like 5 minutes then she comes back and she's like "yeah, when we sent your blood out, they didnt test it quick enough, so it got too old to test, so you're going to need to come back in and give more".

eeeeee!

I still have my bruise from them taking it last time. So now I have to go and give more, right as my bruise is dissappearing.

And this is why doctors should eat poo.
